[Video - Friday morning 12/6]

[Sakura hits the journals up in the morning, relatively early; she's in a cheerful, energetic mood this morning, and feels the need to do some playing today.]

So! We got all that snow yesterday. I think it's time to have a little fun!

What does everyone think of a grand mass snowball fight? I'm talking ninja-style, very few holds barred, get 'em however you can! [Pause.] Try to avoid actually causing serious bodily harm, though. The point is to have fun. But other than that, go for it!

The whole village is fair game, but let's at least get started... hm, just to the south, I think. Plenty of space for fun, and we can spread from there!

[Action - Same day, all day]

[Sakura's out there, wrapped up warm and ready for action. It's a beautiful day for shenanigans and she's got more than a few in mind!]

There's only one rule. Make me do any actual work, and I will destroy you! [Translation: hurt someone and she'll hurt you.

She may also be starting some snow fortifications. Nothing like having the upper hand!]

[ A snowball fight isn't exactly something that ninja from Konoha have the opportunity to participate in all that much, especially given Konoha's usual year-round temperate weather. And even though Kakashi's thirty-one, he still sees no reason why he can't also have a little fun and ~~troll the living shit out of his students~~ throw around some snowballs.

He waits in hiding, careful to mask his chakra, until Sakura isn't looking, and then proceeds to throw three tightly packed snowballs at her simultaneously. All of them travel in a different trajectory.

Throwing snowballs isn't all that different from throwing smoke bombs, after all. They're round and small. ]

[ Kakashi spends most of the time hiding in the snow and amongst the trees, randomly chucking snowballs out of nowhere at everyone. Sometimes it's not just one snowball, but a number in quick succession or a simultaneous deployment. Other times, he takes advantage of tree branches being covered in snow. If you're standing under one, you might get a ton of snow dumped on you.

Woops. ]

[Chili is halfway cheating by just having his little fire-breathing monkey melt the snowballs before they hit him, while he walks around leisurely rolling up snowballs and chewing on candy canes. Hey, he's not breaking any rules!

After melting the whole rapid fire snow-ball-succession, he's gonna try to retaliate! His aim might be crap, but he can throw far!]

[ Sorry, in order to actually hit Kakashi, you'd not only need great aim, but also extremely fast speed. So Kakashi kind of just, tilts his entire body to one side as the snowball comes barreling past him, watching it go past, then looks back at the kid who threw it at him.

And at the little fire monkey that melted all his snowballs. ]

That's cheating, you know.

[ Calls out across the distance, pointing a finger at the monkey. ]

Nuh-uh! There ain't any rules against it!

[He yanks the candy cane out of his mouth, pointing it at Kakashi. Pansear's ears drooped a little at being called a cheater, but they perked up again at Chili's defense, before it pumped a fist in the air.

Oh, they appear to have forgotten the point of the game! Sitting ducks.]

[ Kakashi quirks a brow at the kid, then looks at the little fire monkey, maybe a touch curious about the creature. Must be some sort of summon. ]

Ah, I was under the impression that in a snowball fight, you're supposed to fight your own battles. But, I guess if that's not the case, I suppose you won't mind if I do this.

[ And with that, Kakashi performs a series of hand seals, then bites down on his thumb, crouching down to slam his hand against the ground. Almost immediately, a pack of three dogs come bounding out of a cloud of smoke, looking up at Kakashi expectantly. ]

[YEEK

She whirls, searching for where the snowballs came from, ammo at the ready. But... there's no one there? Which means ninja.

Her eyes narrow, and just to be sure she throws out a quick kai -- she doesn't think anyone's using genjutsu, but with Sasuke on the field, it's always better to check for these things.]

You can't hide forever!

[ Actually, he can.

In fact, he can hide in places she would least expect. Like, underground. So here's Kakashi just taking his nice sweet time, waiting for Sakura to drop her guard. Once enough time's passed, he pops out of nowhere, sending up an explosion of dirt and snow, to surprise-pelt Sakura with a well-aimed snowball at point-blank. ]

Sensei!

[She should have known. Granted, that's not much help when she's spitting snow, glaring absolute daggers at him. Looks like all the men of Team Seven are gonna have to go down!

Which means step one is destroy Kakashi. With snow.]

Ohh, you'd better watch yourself!

[Because it's snow-tsunami time.]

[ What crazy power. ]

[ Kakashi tries his best to dodge out of the way, but he's not nearly as powerful or as fast as he is back home, so the snow ends up getting him towards the end, and he goes down with a thump underneath it.

Then, he just completely disappears.

Let's see if Sakura can find him now. ]

[He's gone.

Oh, she's quite sure he's just preparing some new attack, so she stops where she is, balanced lightly on the balls of her feet, surrounded by a circle of bare earth at the bottom of a crater of snow. Pretty good hit, that one.

She half-closes her eyes, letting herself be receptive to any little hints around her. Sound, movement, chakra senses... her strength is attention to detail, is precision, and she needs that now.]
