[Action: Where the rivers meet in the village]
[Sakura's arrival in Luceti comes with a short, bitten-off yell of surprise and a splash as she drops into the icy water. The white-clad figure vanishes underwater, then reappears, struggling, fighting to surface long enough to catch her breath. It's shockingly cold, iced over in places -- although thankfully not where she fell -- and even if she knows nothing else yet, she knows she must get out of the water.]
[Flailing, gasping, reeling in shock from the sudden cold, it's extremely difficult for her to get atop the water as a ninja would normally go -- but she's too cold to swim properly, she knows that all too well, and with the ice besides, she has no other choice.]
[She's proud of her own strength and control, and she makes herself display it now, pushing up out of the water and working her way until she is balanced by chakra on the surface.]
[Now, though, she's exposed to the bitter air, soaking wet, with nothing but a thin, backless white dress to cover her. And she's freezing.]
[She makes her way toward the shore, where there's a journal waiting for her. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a warm blanket or anything like one. Just the journal, with her name on it, and a biting chill to the air.]
[Sakura's hair is is still damp when her face appears on the journals. She's managed to get dry and warmed up -- and much more warmly dressed than when she arrived -- but she looks disoriented, worried, and worn.]
I don't know what this place is, where it is, why it is. I'm not sure I even want to speculate. But if there's anyone... familiar out there, anyone who knows me -- I'm here.

Re: Action
[Yup, he definitely takes a notice of the dress now that he's out of the heat of the moment.]
Ooooh...um....I think that might have to wait. You're a new feather here in Luceti and the people who took you are hard to get into contact with.
[But he'd explain more once they were in a warmer place.]
Um, yeah the clinic should be warm and that way we can get you checked to see if you're not sick. But, we can always head to the clothing store so you can change.
no subject
[But. Priorities.]
I'm a medic; I can handle checking myself for illness. It's more important to get dry and warm first. Which is closer? [A clinic sounds like it might be a good idea, but she doesn't expect it to have clothing to fit her necessarily, and warm and dry are the most important things right now.]
no subject
But the closet thing to where we are is the clinic. See? Right over there.
[And he'll point to it. It's not that far actually.]
But the clothing store isn't that far either. You pick. I can always do a clothes run for you if you need it but I understand if you'd rather go to the clothing place first.
[The most he wants to be is helpful but he also wants to make sure she's not out in the cold too long and while the clothing shop is probably just a minute further away he doesn't want anything bad to happen.]
no subject
[And she's not going to argue with that; medical jutsu or no medical jutsu, she needs to be inside and warm as quickly as possible. And it's getting a little hard to think clearly -- not really a good sign.]
If I could ask you a great favor... while I head there, would you be able to find me something warm and dry from the clothing shop? I'll pay you back... [Since it's a perfectly reasonable assumption that one would have to pay for items from a shop...]
no subject
[He'll start heading towards it, but he'll offer her a shoulder to lean on if she needs it or not. But, he'll stop when she asks him that favour.]
Hmm? Yeah, no probs. I can go get you something to wear. No need to pay whatsoever. Money's kind of useless here anyways and heroes don't ask for payment.
no subject
That'll be really helpful, thank you. Saves me from having to take a walk in the cold to get it... [And the clinic really is closer, and one way or another, even once she's dry the dress isn't exactly optimal for strolling around in.]
no subject
No probs. I'll see you at the clinic in a few minutes okay?
[And he'll just bound off to the clothing store. He's sure she can take care of herself from here. Besides it's like a two minute walk to the clinic now anyways.]
no subject
Okay!
[He'll find her in the clinic when he gets there, wrapped up in a blanket and at least partially dry. It's a start, at least!]
no subject
Okay maybe not that much but it looks like he's carrying a pile.]
Got some stuff! Didn't know what'd fit so I just grabbed everything I could.
no subject
[She can't help giggling. All she'd expected was that he'd find something warm and generally size-less like a robe or cloak! Instead, he really went all the way, didn't he?]
I'm sure I'll find something that fits well in all of that! Thank you, you really went to extra effort!
no subject
Of course, not in my nature to do things the lazy way. So, yeah, one of everything!
no subject
One of everything... oh my. I'll have a whole new wardrobe if even some of it fits!
no subject
Really? Huh. I didn't think of it like that.
no subject
It's a good thing! A girl gets tired of wearing the same outfit all the time.
[Which... she usually does. Hush. Because in the hospital it matters less.]
no subject
And dumb.]I never really got that. Clothes are clothes, but I guess it would be bad if you wore the same thing all the time. It'd start to smell.

no subject
[It would help on stealth missions! No one would know who he was.]
no subject
Here, set it down, let me look through and see what I can find.
[Of course, she has no idea if sizing works the same here as it does at home, which is going to make experimenting a bit tricky, but at least she can generally eyeball things to see what's worth trying on.]
im sorry im a bit late
So, what was that glowy hand trick you did back there? With all those crazy hand movements.
No worries!
Oh, that? That was just a quick jutsu to help boost my body's temperature regulation. It helped keep me from winding up hypothermic before we could get inside.
no subject
[There's a pause.]
Actually, I don't. What's a jutsu?
no subject
Oh, it's an energy technique. There are lots of different kinds that we use for different purposes.
no subject
[Because, Cross has heard a lot of stuff about magic being able to be learned by anyone in other worlds.]

[Sorry, Sakura he has a lot of questions.]
