[Video - Friday morning 12/6]

[Sakura hits the journals up in the morning, relatively early; she's in a cheerful, energetic mood this morning, and feels the need to do some playing today.]

So! We got all that snow yesterday. I think it's time to have a little fun!

What does everyone think of a grand mass snowball fight? I'm talking ninja-style, very few holds barred, get 'em however you can! [Pause.] Try to avoid actually causing serious bodily harm, though. The point is to have fun. But other than that, go for it!

The whole village is fair game, but let's at least get started... hm, just to the south, I think. Plenty of space for fun, and we can spread from there!


[Action - Same day, all day]

[Sakura's out there, wrapped up warm and ready for action. It's a beautiful day for shenanigans and she's got more than a few in mind!]

There's only one rule. Make me do any actual work, and I will destroy you! [Translation: hurt someone and she'll hurt you.

She may also be starting some snow fortifications. Nothing like having the upper hand!]

[A slow moving target approaches from the north, munching on one of dozens of rolls from the bakery. Now Ilyana was down to the very last one, and thought she might go see what all the commotion was about. She remembered the water balloon fight quite some time ago, and figured that a snowball fight would have to be somewhat similar.

What she hadn't counted on was that the game was already afoot, and that there was someone high above her head in the tree tops sniping would be contestants. So reaching down to grab a handful of snow to make into a snowball might not have been Ilyana's wisest move at that moment, since it likely meant she was fair game.]

[Absolutely everyone is fair game if they're playing (even those who aren't obviously playing, in Neji's case), which means as soon as Ilyana bends down and starts packing snow?

Whop!

Tenten lobs a snowball at her as an opening shot, aiming for her hands. And then two more for good measure, aimed at her shoulder and chest.]

[ilyana]

W-Wha--?

[Ilyana was fast, but she was caught off guard by being sniped and the rapid pace at which she was hit by the snowballs. So she took the shot to the hands, dropping her snowball, she took the shot to the shoulder causing her to turn towards where she was being pelted, which in turn earned her a hit right in the chest.]

Gaaah!

[Okay, she takes a quick moment to brush off the snow, and whip her cloak around her like a shield while she goes to collect some snow. Somebody is going to be earning some payback!]

[Bulls-eye! Tenten does her best to stifle a giggle and ducks behind the truck of the tree itself, grabbing some more of her pre-made snowballs. She'll give the stranger a chance to get some ammunition of her own before popping back out again, hurling several more to try to knock it out of her hands again.]

[This time, Ilyana was a bit more prepared, and rather than simply throwing her snowballs in Tenten's direction, she flung the snow through a magical whirlwind, aiming it above her head rather than straight at her. Why? Because she was aiming for the branches filled with snow above Tenten's head, planning on dumping the snow on her head.]

[Tenten ducks anyway, assuming the throw was intended to hit her --

and lets out a shocked yelp when suddenly several branches worth of snow plummets straight down atop her head, knocking her from the branch and securely burying her in a snowdrift. Nice hit!]
