[Action: Where the rivers meet in the village]

[Sakura's arrival in Luceti comes with a short, bitten-off yell of surprise and a splash as she drops into the icy water. The white-clad figure vanishes underwater, then reappears, struggling, fighting to surface long enough to catch her breath. It's shockingly cold, iced over in places -- although thankfully not where she fell -- and even if she knows nothing else yet, she knows she must get out of the water.]

[Flailing, gasping, reeling in shock from the sudden cold, it's extremely difficult for her to get atop the water as a ninja would normally go -- but she's too cold to swim properly, she knows that all too well, and with the ice besides, she has no other choice.]

[She's proud of her own strength and control, and she makes herself display it now, pushing up out of the water and working her way until she is balanced by chakra on the surface.]

[Now, though, she's exposed to the bitter air, soaking wet, with nothing but a thin, backless white dress to cover her. And she's freezing.]

[She makes her way toward the shore, where there's a journal waiting for her. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a warm blanket or anything like one. Just the journal, with her name on it, and a biting chill to the air.]

[Sakura's hair is is still damp when her face appears on the journals. She's managed to get dry and warmed up -- and much more warmly dressed than when she arrived -- but she looks disoriented, worried, and worn.]

I don't know what this place is, where it is, why it is. I'm not sure I even want to speculate. But if there's anyone... familiar out there, anyone who knows me -- I'm here.

That's right. A lot of people to heal, and it's a very wide-spread battle. She and I were separated.

[And surely Tenten can see exactly how anxious Sakura is about that. (Hint: extremely.)]

[ She senses the apprehension but for the wrong reason. She places an arm on Sakura's shoulder in a reassuring friendly pat. ]

It's okay, Sakura. I know you're a good medic and I'm confident that you have saved multiple lives on the battlefield. [ thanks tenten. ]

[Still, even if Tenten hasn't correctly guessed the source of Sakura's unease, her words are still kind and generally comforting.]

Thanks. I'm doing my best... we all are.

[Deep breath. She wants off this topic.]

So what is there to do around here?

[ Tenten looks distracted by the question and gives it some thought. ]

You can go to the hot springs, train, there's tons of people to meet and to talk with, there's also magic to learn that's native to this land, but it's heavily elemental based and is really for only really patient people. You can also hone your skills at the BattleDome, but, Luceti's a pretty idle town.

Battle dome? [Well, that's caught her interest. Getting stronger is always a goal, and if there's a particularly good way to train here...]

Yeah. It's a neat place but I'm not very adept with how to use it. It basically creates scenarios you can use for training. The fighting is all simulated but it does enhance your skills. [ Which is truly the best thing ever. ] It's very complex to use but this means its options really are limitless.

Oh wow. If you could show me sometime... [Or point her in the direction of someone who understands it better. Because having something that simulates conditions for training...] If it's all simulated, that means no actual property damage, right?

[Because. Sakura. Punching things to death.]

Hmm.. I think Shikamaru probably knows how to use it well, and you can always ask the network. They're pretty receptive to us. [ It's like high school and they're the athletic varsity lacrosse team. ] And yeah, no property damage. Unless you punch the walls of the battledome. Those crumble, as I learned from shooting a gun through it. [ That section of the wall was swiss cheesified. ]

On the bright side, the entire thing repairs itself the next day so don't worry about demolishing it. The same thing applies for the apartment you picked out. [ Temari one time demolished the wall between Ino, and Tenten's room and Shikamaru's room. That was an interesting experience. ]
