[It's one of those things she feels like she ought to say. Ought to let people know, because it's important. They're important, even if they're not here anymore.

On the video, her expression is carefully calm, forced into composure -- but for those who know her well or who are very good at reading faces, it's obvious she's not at all calm about this, not really. They're too important to her for that, and Sasuke in particular... it feels like not enough time. Not enough to getting to savor having her team together again, whole again.]

For anyone wondering... Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke have both gone home.

[Once again, she's the bearer of bad news for Luceti's Konoha population. She takes a breath to say more, but then pauses. What else is there to say, really? And her throat is so tight with it. Her teammates, her boys, are gone -- but they're back where they belong.

It's not enough to ease the sense of loss, though.]

[ He wasn't close at all to Naruto, but it's still sad to hear about the departure. More so with the way that it's given. It's straight-forward affair, but considering what he did know of Naruto's personality?

Maybe his message wouldn't be appreciated, but-

When Red's message come on, he's got the book propped up and with a smile on his face. ]

Hey! I didn't know the other person, and I didn't really know Naruto that well either -- he showed me he some cool ninja moves, and he helped me out with training my pokémon, a pikachu, a few times -- but he told me he was going to be the best where he's from, so he better be going back to do just that!

[ He nods, confident. ]

And -- I know he's got family here too - and friends, obviously. And yeah! I don't really know him at all, so you can think I'm just some dumb kid, but -- I bet he'd want you all to be smiling and feeling good again soon! So I hope you do, and the same with his parents too!

[ He pauses, feeling like he's being more daring than he should be right now, but then bows his head to the screen. ]

My name's Red if you want to call me a moron! But noisy and fun is the way a friend of mine described Naruto... [ He raises his head now ] And I agree! So that's the send off I want to give him!

Thank you for telling us, miss! [ Another nod. ] I hope they'll both be okay!

[ And then finally the message is done. ]

[Well, it was a bit of a speech, but Sakura's okay with that. Right now, having people willing to talk about either of her boys helps.]

Noisy and fun is pretty much on spot. Annoying too, sometimes. But he's one of the best people I know even with that. And Sasuke... well. He's pretty different, but they're really important to each other. So maybe it's good that they've left at the same time, I guess.

[She's rambling a bit, but it feels good to just talk about them.]

[ He's rather indebted to a person who he remembers sounding quite close to the family, and he's thankful himself for the help he got from Naruto, so. (Plus, he was hoping it might do some good in a time when people haven't been feeling like smiling much.) ]

Maybe, but they're really important to you too. [ That much he can guess. ] If they come back, they'll have to make it up to you! Even if you'll be happy just seeing them again.

Make it up to me? [That does make her crack a smile; it's still wistful and more sad than happy, but it's a step in the right direction.] I like the sound of that. Gods know they've put me through enough crap....

[And she can think of all sorts of ways to make the boys make it up to her. This thought has potential!]

[ Absolutely very much so in the right direction. Red will take it! ]

Yep, me too! If anybody left me behind like that, I'd make sure they really knew it! They'd have to help me feed Snorlax everyday for two weeks - and a guy like Snorlax, he's got a stomach that'll make anybody beg for forgiveness trying to fill.

What about you, huh? Personal housecleaners? Doing anything you say for a week?

[She has no idea what a Snorlax is, but helping to feed it certainly sounds unpleasant enough.]

Sounds about right! I wouldn't mind a couple of cute boys at my beck and call for a week or so...

[That grin? That's a bit evil there. He's definitely helping her perk up!]

Hmm, but I bet Naruto will complain the whole time when you're not looking. But then, girls have a way of really scaring guys... not that I know how that is, but I bet you do!

[ Being a girl! ]

[Upon seeing this (long) message from Red whom he saved during the draft, Minato can't help but smile wide in gratitude. To know his son has this impact to someone who they met in this place and to know this someone is telling them what Naruto would have also wanted for all of them fills him with warmth.

Red's right. Naruto would have felt the same in a way.

So, as he turns on his journal, Minato gives Red this grateful smile.]

Thank you for your kind words, Red. I really hope so, too.

Oh-- oh, it's you! [ Woah, surprise video. ] It's okay! Do you...

[ waaaaiit the clogs. they are turning...!! ]

Ah! Are you close to Naruto? Are you his...? [ Say it for him!? ]

[He gives a calm nod as his smile doesn't diminish any.]

That's right. I'm his father. [He pauses, quickly recalling the time they met in Zompania.] He is the son I mentioned during the draft.

Right. I remember. [ He nods his head with appreciation. ] Thank you for helping Ash and me back then. He's doing better now.

It's no problem. I'm just glad to be of any help, especially now that you've mentioned your friend is doing better.

[He's still recalling that time during the draft. It was a quick and needed rescue, one he won't hesitate on doing over and over again if warranted.]

Though, are your [animal summons? no] "pokemon" also doing well?

They are. They've been healed up. [ Completely. ] Venusaur's leafs and vines even grew back.

[ A processed quickened by Saori. ]

Is there anything we can do to pay you back for that? Venusaur can create relaxing smells or help people sleep if you ever need it.

Oh, no it's fine. [He gives a sheepish smile.] I helped because I wanted to and not because I wanted something in return. [And because, as Hokage, he feels the need to help everyone he can.]

Although, I will take note of... Venusaur's capabilities should ever there be a need for them in the future. [Not because he'll take it as some sort of payment for what he did, rather as something that'll come in handy for anyone in the future.]

Okay. [ He smiles for a moment, fine with that. It was an offer for not just for Minato's use, but anybody he might know as well - and not a one time thing either. People were having a hard time sleeping as of late. Yet- maybe that wasn't the same for ninja types?

A thought quickly occurs to Red though after that, and with a short hesitance... ]

Um, if it's okay... could I meet you sometime? In person?

[Ninja types sleep through a storm LMAO.

The question has Minato pausing a little in brief surprise before he nods.]

Ah, of course. When do you want it?

[ Good work ninja types. ]

Whenever's good for you? [ A tiny tiny tiny part of him wants to say how Minato could probably find him in the blink of an eye, but that's really childish riiiiiight... ]

Alright.

[Slowly, he offers a smile. Yup, he can most probably be able to find Red in a matter of seconds given his abilities, but let's save that for a rainy day hoho.]

How about tomorrow afternoon by the fountain? You can set the time. I won't be late. [He can't possibly be late (since he has a seal by the fountain) but Minato knows Red gets it.]

[ Because he's a very punctual guy, obviously! ]

Ummm... twelve? Half past twelve? [ That's afternoon right? oh geez he's actually going to have to follow the time for once. ] Is that okay?

[The most punctual!]

Sounds good to me. [He would have easily invited Red over to their house, but after Naruto leaving, he just wants to get out of it for a while. Too many memories and all that.] I'll see you tomorrow, Red. And again, thank you.
